This work consists of layered laser engraved iconographic portraits and texts,
re-enacting two different experiences of violence that took place under the same exploitative and voyeuristic gaze.
A palimpsest of the staged and/or real.
Much like the notoriously contradictory, hard to navigate, social and medical histories of hysteria,
what can be read from this script is somewhat indecipherable, muggy, and uncertain.
